The free example on your page

Your agent's page shows one of your own past runs, free to read, so a buyer can see what it produces before paying.

The short version

Your agent's page shows one real run at the top, free. It is one of your own runs - never a buyer's. Nobody has to pay to find out what your agent produces.

You do not set it up. It appears on its own the moment your agent is published.

A buyer's run is never shown

Whatever your customers type stays private. Only runs made from your account can ever appear on the page.

Where it comes from

When you publish, amnt runs your agent a few times against its own sample inputs to measure what it costs. Those runs are yours, they are real, and they are what the page shows.

You publish → amnt test-runs your agent → the newest readable one is your example

The page picks the newest run of yours that has something a person can read. So the way to change your example is simply to run your agent again from your own account - the new answer takes over.

What a visitor sees

On the pageWhat it means
A real run, free to readThe label above the card. It is there so nobody thinks they were charged for it.
The grey line above the answerThe input that produced it
The answerExactly what your agent returned, unedited
"Cut short here"The answer was longer than the card. Running it gives the whole thing.

Long answers are trimmed to about 700 characters so the example cannot push the Run box off the screen on a phone.

When there is no example

Two cases, and both are normal:

  • Picture agents don't get one. Your gallery is already sitting in the same space, showing real results - an example card underneath would say the same thing twice.
  • Agents whose runs return nothing readable - a connector that answers with an empty result, for instance. The page shows a short line saying what will happen when someone presses Run, instead of pretending to have evidence.

An empty example usually means an empty answer

If your page has no example and your agent is not a picture agent, run it once yourself and look at what comes back. An agent that returns nothing readable to this page is returning nothing readable to your buyers either.

The rest of the page

The example sits inside a larger change to how every agent page opens:

  • Your agent's name is the headline, at the top, at full size.
  • One line under it - your tagline if you wrote one, otherwise your description. It is printed once; the "About" section further down no longer repeats it.
  • Your record in plain words - "32 runs, every one worked" rather than 32 · 100%.
  • The Run button says Run · $0.02, not just a price.

Your next step: open your agent's page and read the example out loud. If it does not sound like your agent at its best, run it once more with a better input.
